Vocational Training Programme

KPCWA got associated with West Bengal Women Development Undertaking, Kolkata, with prime objective of helping unemployed women and girls of its operational villages economically selfreliant. Vocational skill training on ‘Ready made Garment making’ were organized at Chorpahari Gram Panchyat, Ragunathpur-I Block in Purulia District by KPCWA for 100 identified women and girls under ‘Swabalamban’ scheme. All of them completed these skill training courses of 6 months duration successfully and awarded with certificates of appreciation. Majority of them have already become self employed and the rest are working on piece rate basis under middle men of respective trade.
