This scheme is being implemented by KPCWA in collaboration with the Department of Women & Child and Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, since last twelve years for the benefit of working mothers of economically disadvantaged communities.
At present our organization has been running seven crèche centers, two at Khardah Gram Panchayat, one each at Sirajbati & Udang-I Gram Panchyat under Amta-I Block, one at Tapna Gram Panchat under Uluberia-I Block and one each at Ward No.-28 & Ward No.-20 under Uluberia Municipality area of Howrah District in West Bengal. Altogether 175 numbers of children, both boys and girls got enrolled in these centers. Apart from basic pre-primary education, they are given nutritious food regularly and health checkup services by registered medical practitioners in periodic intervals and also have sleeping facility, sports equipments. Mothers are found very happy to see their children growing in these centers.
