Khardah Public Cultural & Welfare Association is an implementing partner of SAG-KP Convergence programme Aided by the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare (WCD & SW) collaboration with CDPO Bagnan-I under Bagnan-I Development Block in Howrah district of West Bengal. It is unique initiative to convergence SAG and Kanyashree Programme together in view of holistic development of adolescent girls from the age group of 11-18 years ( both school going – going and out of school) to address their multi dimensional vulnerabilities in education, nutrition protection and health. This convergence programme is being implemented through ICDS cell.
Main Objective of the programme are to reduce different social vulnerabilities like school dropout, early marriage, trafficking. Mainstreaming out of school adolescent girls through linking them with Kanyashree Prakalpa.Skill Building by providing vocational training in convergence with Utkarsha Bangla.
