Welcome to Khardah Public Cultural & Welfare Association (KPCWA)
KPCWA has been persistently swearing the oath of restoring and strengthening the lives of the poor, deprived, under-privileged and the marginalized in their struggle for survival.

It is a non govt., non pro_it, non political, non religious social development organization established in the year 1990. We work for the development of deprived and marginalized people, especially the women and children, in remote areas of West Bengal. We facilitate the participatory process of sustainable development where community are able to make their own choice, meet their survival need and become self reliant with dignity. Since its inception, KPCWA has been successfully helping such communities in improving their quality of life. The major agenda in KPCWA's Community-focused Strategy to bring in an integrated, inclusive, and sustainable development involves gender mainstreaming, action research, networking and advocacy. Through its three inter-dependent interventions of participatory action at the community level, capacity and resource support at the community level to intermediary development practitioners, and advocacy at the districts and State levels for pro-poor reforms on rights based perspectives, KPCWA propels forward its vision of an equitable society with its mission of transparent, gender-sensitive, accountable and good governance.
